SHILOH FARMS wholesome healthy foods have been a mainstay of independent health food stores throughout the Northeast for generations. Its early roots can be traced to back to 1942 with a farm and local bakery in Western New York State where its reputation for quality of product and purity of ingredients grew.
By the early seventies, SHILOH FARMS Sprouted 7-Grain Breads for Life – “the bread with the blue label” – could be found in all five NYC boroughs and throughout the Northeast. Shelves were being filled with SHILOH FARMS whole wheat flour, whole grains, dried fruits, nuts, jams and jellies. The SHILOH FARMS label became synonymous with authentic natural and organic foods.
The product line now features more than 200 items that include sprouted grain breads, sprouted flours, pretzels, dried fruits, nuts, beans, peas, lentils, flours, grains and more. More than a half million blue stand-up pouches are filled at SHILOH FARMS’ New Holland facility each year.
SHILOH FARMS Gluten Free
In 2011, SHILOH FARMS partnered with the Susquehanna Association for the Blind and Vision Impaired (SABVI) for the development of a certified organic, dedicated gluten free facility in Leola, Pennsylvania. In the fall of 2012, the facility will begin production of a new line of certified gluten free SHILOH FARMS products and will create jobs for as many as 15 employees.
